South Coast League Names Burke MVP

Mike Burke of San Clemente High School was named the South Coast League’s most valuable player in a vote of the league’s water polo coaches.
The league-champion Tritons placed four players on the first team and two on the second team. The coaches’ teams:

SECOND TEAM Matt Bloom (Mission Viejo), Bruce Burkley (El Toro), Sean Cleaver (San Clemente), Ed Dunbar (El Toro), Doug Echelberger (San Clemente), Kurt Hanselman (Dana Hills), Joe Kennefick (Capistrano Valley) and John Sotter (Capistrano Valley).
