Local News in Brief : Motorcyclist Dies After Hitting Freeway Rail

A 28-year-old Canyon Country man died Monday after crashing with his motorcycle on the San Diego Freeway near Mission Hills, the California Highway Patrol said.
The victim, Theodore James Fleiner, was southbound at about 70 m.p.h. when the motorcycle hit a culvert and a guard rail just south of the Golden State Freeway junction, Officer Joe Rojas said.
Fleiner was pronounced dead at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, Rojas said.
