Robber Cleans Out Dallas Cartier Store

DALLAS — Police searched Thursday for an impeccably dressed man who robbed a Cartier jewelry store of 80% of its merchandise.
“We aren’t sure of the dollar value of everything that was taken, but this is the Cadillac of jewelry stores. I would say that the loss is substantial,” police investigator H. D. Akins said of the Wednesday robbery.
Store owner Nirmal Vaswani said a man wearing stylish sunglasses and a camel-colored overcoat ordered him to put the contents of the store safe into two suitcases.
