United Technologies said the headquarters of a newly created advanced tactical weapons division would be located in San Diego. The Advanced Systems division will include United Technology’s existing San Diego-based Norden Advanced Systems and its Huntsville, Ala.-based United Space Boosters operations. Design, advanced engineering and program management will be handled in San Diego. Production will be based in Huntsville.
