The city has inaugurated a community news and information program on its cable Channel 56 to cover events involving or affecting Walnut residents. The 15-minute program, which airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and repeats Thursdays at 7, covers items from the City Council and school board. Starting Feb. 24, the show will precede a half-hour program featuring on subjects of interest to residents. The cost of the programs is covered by fees paid by Walnut subscribers to Falcon Cable Television. City administrative aide Jaletta Albright and intern Valerie Guerrero serve as anchors and intern Ernie Moreno handles cameras, lighting and editing.
