Pepperdine Beats San Diego State in Volleyball

SAN DIEGO — Matt Rigg had 16 kills Friday night to lead No. 3 Pepperdine past No. 13 San Diego State in a Western Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. men’s volleyball match in Peterson Gym.
Pepperdine (4-0, 7-3) won the match, 15-9, 15-2, 14-16, 15-4.
San Diego State (1-5, 3-5) had 20 kills from Bruk Vandeweghe.
