Pasadena : College Enrollment Up

A study of student registration at Pasadena City College shows that enrollment increased by almost 2,000 in the past five years and now stands at 20,164 students who take both day and night classes.
The largest ethnic increases are among Asians and Latinos. The number of Asians has increased from 1,695 in 1982 to 3,479 in 1986, a jump of 105%. Latino enrollment increased from 2,497 to 3,570, about 43%. Students between the ages of 19 and 21 continue to be the largest age group, making up about 30% of the student body.
