Alan J. Stang, who once hosted a nightly talk show on a Glendale radio station, was convicted of failing to pay about $250,000 in income taxes over a five-year period. A Los Angeles federal court jury deliberated less than three days before convicting Stang, 54, of Alta Loma of five counts of willful failure to file income tax returns from 1979 to 1983. Stang, who hosted “The Alan Stang Report” on KIEV-AM, faces five years in prison and an $80,000 fine at his March 30 sentencing before U.S. District Judge Consuelo Marshall, Assistant U.S. Atty. Mark Bonner said.
