Ike’s Warning

For 27 years anti-military, anti-capitalist types have been gleefully and speciously feeding on President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s warning of the “military-industrial complex.” I’m sure that most of them are aware that in the same speech Ike warned: “ A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction.”
