Dick Howser, former manager of the Kansas City Royals who has been fighting cancer since last summer, was hospitalized in Kansas City.
A St. Luke’s Hospital spokesman said Howser’s condition would not be made available until this morning, but that he was admitted in a “non-emergency situation.”
