HONG KONG — An explosion rocked a crowded Hong Kong shopping mall Wednesday moments after an anonymous telephone caller made a bomb threat, police said. Fourteen people, including three children, were injured.
The explosion occurred outside a second-floor toy shop at the City Plaza mall in the Tai Koo Shing area of Hong Kong Island, police said in a statement. A receptionist at the mall received an anonymous call from a man a short time earlier saying that two bombs had been planted.
