We shuddered when we read that Lida Dolan (Viewers’ Views, June 21) was “outraged” that NBC preempted daytime shows with the government’s Iran- contra hearings. Wow, Ms. Dolan, that is your government and your tax dollars that were stolen from your pocket. If you do not care how our country is run, then who will care? The hearings are compelling and riveting. Our entire family would not miss one minute of them. They are not only a history lesson, but a civics lesson.
