In response to Mr. Okada, who expressed his dissatisfaction with ABC’s “MacGyver” by, among other things, saying that “the de-emphasis on beautiful women bugs me even more,” I would like to say that what “bugs” me are men like Okada who can’t appreciate the abilities of women unless the way they look activates their salivary glands. I also would like to say thank you to the producers of “MacGyver” for providing (for those of us who appreciate it) what is, in my opinion, a wonderful program.
