Democratic Assemblyman Art Agnos, who is running for mayor in San Francisco, failed to properly report more than $300,000 in outside income over the past 10 years and he says he will have to make numerous amendments in required economic disclosure statements. Agnos conceded that he made a number of errors in annual financial reports submitted to the state Fair Political Practices Commission. The veteran lawmaker insisted that his outside business dealings were disclosed, but not always listed in the proper categories. “One could have checked a different box than I checked,” Agnos said.
