More on Lite Romance

“Lite Romance” implies that all women want committed relationships and men don’t, largely as a result of the so-called shortage of men. There were articles published recently, which were not referred to by Ciotti, concluding that educated, professional, single women over 30 are sought after by men. It seems that the salability of the Lite Romance cover story exploits that male fantasy of a bountiful supply of women, competing against each other, for men.
