Secretary of State Testifies at the Iran-Contra Hearings

I was deeply disappointed with the committee on the interrogation of Shultz. Instead of all of them falling all over themselves to heap nothing but praise on him, why didn’t just one of them take up the part Assistant Secretary of State Elliott Abrams played. We all know Abrams was deeply involved in the contra affair and we could have picked up some loose ends. Also does Shultz intend to retain a man with so much controversy surrounding him?
