Allied-Signal Aerospace Co. will reorganize its operations into two new units and create an office of the president by the end of the year. The new units, Aircraft Equipment Co. and Defense Systems Co., will realign the Arlington, Va.-based firm’s Bendix and Garrett operations. The new office will consist of company President and Chief Executive Robert L. Kirk and the presidents of the new units. The Garrett, Bendix and Bendix/King trade names will continue to be featured and production and delivery schedules will be unaffected by the changes, the firm said.
