I have to disagree with David Pecchia about “Indian Eating” places (Restaurant Listings, Oct. 25). Specifically, I find Gauranga’s at Laguna Beach not “closer to home” than Akbar in Arcadia.

In round numbers, Laguna is 160 miles away and Arcadia only 125. (Tandoor restaurant on L street is only 3 1/2 miles away, with fine Indian food.)

I assume Pecchia was using my house as a reference point.
