British Jets Collide; 2 Die

LONDON — Two British pilots were killed today when their Royal Air Force Harrier jets collided over northern England during maneuvers. The RAF said the supersonic planes crashed over a firing range in Northumberland and the pilots’ bodies were found close to the wreckage.
