News Anchors Attebery, Smith Leave Channel 11

Veteran KTTV Channel 11 news anchors Larry Attebery and Bill Smith “are no longer with KTTV,” a station spokeswoman confirmed Monday. No one at the Fox-owned station would comment, however, on when they left or under what circumstances.
Attebery joined KTTV in 1973 as part of the station’s investigative reporting team and during his tenure there worked as both an anchor and news director. A former reporter/anchor for KNX-AM Radio, he most recently was Channel 11’s weekend anchorman.
Smith had been with the station in a variety of news positions for more than 10 years.
