‘Tibet: What’s Going on?’
The last few weeks have witnessed a heightened unwarranted intrusion of China in Tibetan affairs. For China to try Tibetans in their own country for what the Chinese claim to be acts of crimes is an affront to Tibet’s territorial integrity.
For China to also outlaw the Tibetan flag, punish the Tibetan people for clamoring for independence, and deny the Dalai Lama entry into his native land, all have the makings of a south Africa-like scenario.
It’s high time the U.S. as well as the international community rally around Tibet by condemning China’s brazen acts of human rights violations.
