I have not permitted the office of the mayor to force on the Private Industry Council an unfair trial of PIC President Dominick Ramos (Metro, Oct. 29, 30) until the investigations that the city initiated, with my agreement, are concluded and the results are known to us.
We have received a draft of a financial audit to which I responded and, on Oct. 26, two documents; a long dissertation faulting our activities, and a copy of a harassment complaint. The PIC Board will deal with its various problems when all the facts are presented and the persons involved are present, not before.
