Jim R. Mitchell has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Cimco, a Costa Mesa-based manufacturer of thermoplastic products. He succeeds Daniel Pitkin, now staff vice president in charge of new business development. Mitchell will be responsible for the sales and marketing of custom injection molding components and related services for both Cimco and the molded medical components division of its subsidiary, Medical Molding Corp. of America. He has held management positions with UFE Inc. in Stillwater, Minn., and more recently with The Tech Group in Scottsdale, Ariz.
