Alleged Ex-Nazi Facing Loss of U.S. Citizenship

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department announced Thursday that it is seeking to revoke the U.S. citizenship of a Chicago man who concealed from immigration officials his alleged wartime membership in the Nazi SS Death’s Head battalions at three concentration camps. Jakob Habich, 74, a native of Romania, came to the United States in 1955 and became a citizen in 1962, officials said.
