Huey and Lusk Lead Western to 41-0 Victory Over Magnolia

Joey Huey threw two touchdown passes and William Lusk rushed for 146 yards in 14 carries to lead Western High School to a 41-0 Orange League victory over Magnolia Friday night in front of 350 at Western.
Lusk scored on a 22-yard run to give the Pioneers (7-2, 3-1) a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. The Sentinels (0-9, 0-4) were unable to stop Lusk in the first half. He gained 126 yards before halftime. Western lead at the half, 27-0.
Huey completed 11 of 14 passes for 107 yards. He threw two touchdown passes to tight end Toby Howell, covering 24 yards and 23 yards.
