Times Poll and Taxes

Does The Times only poll uninformed people? How can anyone in their right mind be opposed to raising taxes (64%), opposed to cutting defense (68%), and opposed to cutting domestic programs (76%) all at the same time?
This is the kind of half-thought that created the deficit. We don’t owe this money to ourselves anymore. We owe it to Japan and Germany. It’s time to cut the American Express Card in half and settle our debts.
