Local News in Brief : Seal Beach : Ceremony Will Mark Eisenhower Park Work

A ground-breaking ceremony will be held today to mark the renovation of Eisenhower Park at the base of the Seal Beach Pier.
Improvements, including palm trees, landscaping, a new walkway and a gazebo to enclose a monument to President Eisenhower, will be paid for with $34,000 that was raised through community efforts. Fund-raising events by the Seal Beach Junior Woman’s Club included “I Like Ike” lasagna dinners.
