Woodbridge’s Willett Sweeps to Tennis Title

Julie Willett of Woodbridge High School defeated Jenny Marquis of Laguna Hills, 6-0, 6-0, Wednesday to win the Pacific Coast League’s singles championship in tennis.
It was the fourth league title for Willett, who won two Sea View League championships before she won her two Pacific Coast titles. Willett is 54-0 this season.
Willett and Marquis advanced to the Southern Section 3-A singles championship, which starts this weekend.
