French cyclist Jeannie Longo reportedly had a positive drug test after setting a world record last September at Colorado Springs, Colo.
In a letter to the French Cycling Federation, the American Cycling Federation reported that the three-time world champion had traces of ephedrine in her system when she broke the three-kilometer mark Sept. 12.
Ephedrine is commonly found in medication such as nose drops, which would constitute an accidental doping, according to the International Olympic Committee.
