Though local pro football fans haven’t had much to smile about this season, they’ll have a chance to cheer on the Rams and Raiders from their living rooms this weekend.
On Sunday, the Rams and St. Louis Cardinals will meet in Busch Stadium at 10 a.m. on CBS (2)(8). Then at 5 p.m., the Raiders-San Diego Chargers game will be televised on Channels 11 and 10. It also will be carried on ESPN cable.
In college football today, ABC has the Washington-UCLA game at 12:30 p.m. (7)(3)(10)(42), with a replay due Sunday at 4 p.m. on Prime Ticket. The cable channel also will televise USC vs. Arizona on a tape-delay tonight at 10:30.
Off to a swift start in their National Basketball Assn. season, the Lakers face the Golden State Warriors tonight at 8 on Channels 9, 51 and 63. On Sunday, the world champions will host the San Antonio Spurs at 7:30 p.m. on Prime Ticket and SelecTV.
