Bahrain, Saudi Arabia Renew Ties With Egypt

Bahrain and Saudi Arabia today announced that they have resumed diplomatic relations with Egypt, the sixth and seventh Arab states to do so in the past six days.
The moves followed a decision by the Arab League last week to let individual states decide on their own relations with Egypt. Most Arab countries severed ties after Cairo’s 1979 peace treaty with Israel.
