Irvine Defeats Pacific to Win Fifth Straight in Water Polo

Four players from UC Irvine scored two goals each as the Anteaters defeated the University of the Pacific, 11-5, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. water polo match at Heritage Park Sunday.
Mike Doting, Mike Halphide, Tony Bell and Julian Harvey scored two each for first-place Irvine (17-7 overall and 8-1 in the PCAA), which has won five straight.
Pacifica is 10-17, 0-9.
Irvine, the third-ranked team in the country, plays No. 2 UCLA tonight at 7 at Heritage Park.
