- The Cinema Society of North County will open its inaugural season in January, 1988, with a half-season of five films. Members will view motion pictures by major and independent studios before they are released to the general public. Palomar College film professor Robert Sheppard will serve as moderator for the series.
Andrew Friedenberg, a name synonymous will cinema in San Diego for some time, is director of this new society. All programs will take place at the Edwards San Marcos Cinemas. Contact Friedenberg or Nancy Lyon of the Felicita Foundation (official sponsor of the series).
