John C. Marous Jr. has been named chairman, chief executive and a director of Westinghouse Electric Corp., effective Jan. 1. Paul E. Lego, 57, was named president, chief operating officer and a director, also effective Jan. 1. The company had announced in July that it intended to elect Marous chairman and Lego president.
Marous, 62, succeeds Douglas D. Danforth, who will retire at year-end. Marous currently is president of the company’s industries and international group. Lego is senior executive vice president-corporate resources.
