Terry Lynn Hahn, 24, pleaded innocent Wednesday in Vista Municipal Court to charges of arson, burglary, forgery and possession of forged checks stemming from a $1-million fire late Saturday at the Hyundai dealership in Escondido.
Hahn is being held in the County Jail at Vista on $34,000 bail. Judge Tony Maino set a bail review hearing for Monday and preliminary hearing for Dec. 16.
Hahn, an Escondido resident, was arrested shortly after midnight while allegedly burglarizing A-1 Car Rental near the car dealership. Prosecutors allege that the Hyundai fire was set to draw attention away from the A-1 burglary.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Walter Donovan said Hahn was fired from Hyundai of Escondido six weeks ago.
