Trojans Face Unbeaten Alabama Today

USC’s basketball team, coming off its only victory of the season, will play undefeated Alabama today in a nonconference game at Birmingham.

The Trojans, who opened the season with three consecutive road losses, beat Seattle University, 68-40, Thursday night at the Sports Arena. Sophomore forward Chris Munk made 6 of 8 shots and led USC with 15 points. Another sophomore forward, Bob Erbst, had 11.

After playing the Crimson Tide (3-0), the Trojans will return home for nonconference games against Cal State Long Beach and Tennessee before meeting Stanford in their Pacific 10 Conference opener Dec. 21.
