James F. Harrison was named president and chief executive of Telegence Corp., a company based in Westlake Village that makes products linking computers on a network.
Harrison succeeds Andrew Reichert, who founded the privately held firm in 1983 and remains its chairman and chief technical officer.
Harrison formerly was a vice president of marketing for U. S. West, a telecommunications company based in Denver.
