Walter F. Beran has been elected a director of Pacific Scientific, filling a seat left vacant by the death of W.P. Balderston. Beran was vice chairman of Ernst & Whinney’s 23 western region offices before retiring in October, 1986. He continues to advise the accounting firm on international matters. Pacific Scientific, based in Anaheim, serves specialty markets in the fields of electronic instruments, electric motors and controls, aerospace products, restraint systems and components.
