Monrovia : Freeway System Supported

The City Council has approved a request from the county Transportation Commission to support establishment of a Service Authority for Freeway Emergencies. The purpose is to improve and upgrade the freeway emergency telephone system by assessing $1 on each automobile registration in the county.
The program can be established only if a majority of the cities in the county representing a majority of the population vote to support the program.
