The jury in the Howard Beach racial attack trial plodded through its eighth day of deliberations, listening again to a police officer’s trial testimony. The reading of the testimony of Officer Ronald Siegal marked the fourth time in the last two days that the jury requested testimony read back. The officer said he had arrived at the New Park Pizzeria in Howard Beach shortly before the alleged attack by a gang of 12 whites on three blacks.
