Three plainclothes Salvadoran policemen were killed and a policeman critically wounded when urban guerrillas sprayed their car with machine-gun fire from a passing vehicle, police in San Salvador reported. They said the attack, on a street corner near the U.S. Embassy, was believed to have been carried out by leftist guerrillas of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front. The four victims were members of the Salvadoran Treasury police.
