THE PREPS : Santa Ana Is No. 1 in Poll

Santa Ana High School, coming off an impressive 64-51 victory over Woodbridge in the title game of the Irvine World News tournament, is the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep basketball poll.

The Saints (10-0) are one of two undefeated county teams. Fountain Valley (7-0), ranked fourth, is the other. Marina, top-ranked last week, fell to second after losing to Estancia, 63-62.
