Stevens Paces Davis Win Over CSUN Women

DAVIS — Staci Stevens scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead UC Davis past Cal State Northridge, 66-52, in a women’s nonconference basketball game Tuesday night at Recreation Hall.

Stevens, a 6-1 senior, made 9 of 10 shots--most of them layups--as Davis shot 59% to Northridge’s 36%.

Guard Kristen Brinkema was the only Lady Matador to shoot better than 50%. She was 3 of 5, including one from three-point range, for seven points. Kathleen Dixon led Northridge with nine points.
