NFL coaches and scouts have seen what they can do in a week of pro-like practices. Now, the all-stars for the North and South squads will show what they can do in game-like conditions in the Senior Bowl today at Mobile, Ala.
Both coaches, Seattle’s Chuck Knox for the North and New Orleans’ Jim Mora for the South, said they might flip coins to decide who will start at quarterback.
Knox said he would let each of his quarterbacks, All-American Don McPherson of Syracuse and Chris Chandler of Washington, play half the game.
Mora has Kerwin Bell of Florida and Jeff Burger of Auburn.
