Cal State Fullerton, which has won two straight games for the first time this season, travels to UC Santa Barbara tonight for a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game.
The Gauchos (14-4, 6-3) handed the Titans their worst PCAA defeat of the season in a 67-55 game in Titan Gym last month, and are the only conference team to defeat Nevada Las Vegas since 1986. Santa Barbara upset UNLV, 62-60, last month at Las Vegas.
Fullerton (6-12, 2-7), winless in its first seven conference games, beat Pacific and Fresno State last week. Henry Turner, the Titans’ 6-foot 7-inch forward, scored 43 points and had 21 rebounds in those two games.
Brian Shaw, Santa Barbara’s 6-6 guard, is leading the PCAA in rebounding with a 9.4 average. Carrick DeHart (15.3 points a game) is the Gauchos’ leading scorer.
