Compton 63, Fullerton 49--Vincent Camper scored 23 points to lead host Compton (17-9, 6-5). Troy Joseph scored 17 for Fullerton (16-11, 6-5).

Pasadena 81, Golden West 76--Doug McCusker and Elbert Davis scored 16 each for visiting Golden West.

In a South Coast Conference women’s game:

Golden West 92, Pasadena 48--Kathy Werth scored 18, Jane Utu 17, Jeannine Battaglia 14 and Stephanie Swanson 12 for host Golden West (27-1, 11-0), which won the its 26th consecutive game. The victory cliches a tie for the conference championship for Golden West.

In the Orange Empire Conference:

Cypress 71, Citrus 52--Venetta Dorlis and Vicky Silva scored 18 points each for host Cypress (20-7, 7-0). Karen Caires scored 14 points and had 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Cypress.

Orange Coast 59, Rancho Santiago 54--Gilly Powell scored 21 points and Kim Ellerman had 15 for host Orange Coast (14-12, 5-2). Demerial Gibson scored 21 for Rancho Santiago, which had 25 turnovers.
