Harbor, El Camino Win Playoff Berths

Two South Bay community college basketball teams have won post-season playoff berths.
Harbor College (18-9) opens Saturday night at 7:30, playing host to Golden West College (15-15) of Huntington Beach.
El Camino College (28-3), winner of the South Coast Conference, drew a bye in the first round and will await the outcome of Saturday’s game between Saddleback College (17-11) of Mission Viejo and Long Beach City College at Long Beach.
Second-round games in the single-elimination tournament are slated for March 1 and 2, with group finals scheduled for March 4 and 5. Four group finalists from the Southern California join four teams from northern California at the community college state tournament March 10-12 at the University of Santa Clara.
