Oil futures prices fell after an early rally faded. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil for April delivery settled at $15.50 per 42-gallon barrel, down 17 cents. Among refined products traded on the exchange, April contracts for wholesale No. 2 heating oil also fell, dropping 1.04 cents to 42.89 cents a gallon, and wholesale unleaded regular gasoline slipped 0.50 cent to 44.40 cents a gallon.
