Southland Lutherans Will Gather

“In the Midst of Many People” is the theme of the 35th convention of the Southern California district of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, which will be held April 8 through 10 at the Hilton Hotel, 777 Convention Way, Anaheim.
President Loren Kramer’s address Friday at 2:30 p.m. will open the convention. A Festival Communion service at Melodyland Christian Center will follow.
Issues to be discussed include encouragement of active ministry to and through older adults and establishment of urban-ethnic ministry services.
