TODAY ‘Love Is a Fat Woman’ Argentina-Netherlands, 1987, 78 minutes , 10:15 p.m. The “fat woman” of the title is complicity, which is not the failing of this film. Adrift, he is politically impotent, taking on the role of a cipher for the outcasts he meets. A dark, fascinating premise, far more interesting to contemplate than view.
